He is deeply committed to the development and support of the ministry and mission of congregations in this diocese, particularly through strategies of partnership with other congregations and organizations.

He is the author of several articles on methods of Christian education and on team building.

Jack and Linda McKelvey have been partners in life and ministry for 38 years. Together they have raised four children and are proud grandparents of four, three boys and one girl. You can see them at many of the Red Wings home games, Linda with her quilting and Jack with his eye on the ball.  Baseball is his passion.

Hers are quilting, rocking babies at Daystar, and cats and dogs and four-legged creatures of all sorts.
