Programs
of Education
Church School
Classes for children are
divided into three groups: Preschool/Kindergarten for children ages 4-5,
the Primary Class for children ages 6-8, and the intermediate class for
children 9-12. Classes meet from 9:15 am until 10;15 am, using a
Montessori based program. We need the parents and
adults in this parish community to take the responsibility and support for
our education program.
St. Paul's Youth (SPY)
This group represents the
youth of our faith community. They meet together regularly to engage
in many activities, both fun and serious. ISPY/SPY is a growing
group of church youth between the ages of 9 to 18. They go on trips,
plan fundraisers, service the homeless in Hoboken, worship as a group,
engage in service projects, and lend their great enthusiasm to our
community life at St, Paul's.
Adult Education
Forum
Christian education for adults is an ongoing program at St. Paul's.
Forums begin on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am. Subject matter varies,
but is always interesting and stimulating. Presentations are sparked
with a lively sharing of ideas by the adults of our parish.
Occasionally, guest speakers are invited to present views on current
issues of interest. Adult Education is a must for the growth of our
spirits as we are challenged by daily living.
Women's
Literature Group
The Group meets regularly on one Wednesday of each month September through
June. The book may be fiction or non-fiction, humorous or
thought-provoking, covering a wide range of expressions that many if the
participants can relate to their own life experiences. All women of
St. Paul's are welcome to come and share ion the evening's enjoyment and
lively discussions.
