Stewardship

Stewardship is primarily a spiritual issue.  It reflects the way we as individuals see ourselves in relationship to God.  When we come to realize that this truly IS God's world, then we begin to live more sacrificially and more meaningfully.  We use our time, our talent and our treasure as a means to connect ourselves with God and God's church.  Our giving becomes a reflection of our relationship with God.  We give more to the Church, not because the Church needs our help, but because we need to love fully that which involves sacrificial giving.  The Stewardship Committee undertakes programs that encourage us in our sacrificial giving.  Assist us by:

• Joining the Stewardship Committee, which manages our parish's annual Every Member Canvass (EMC)
• Volunteering to lead stewardship and time and talent discussions during home meetings
• Using the United Thank Offering (UTO) Blue Boxes, or by working with our UTO Fundraising Committee
• Serving on the Endowment Committee, which monitors our investments
• Serving on the Finance Committee, which monitors spending and income
